PCA Sensi Peel
A gentle PCA SKIN professional peel, formulated for sensitive and reactive skin, with minimal visible peeling.
The PCA Sensi Peel is a professional chemical peel from PCA SKIN, formulated as a gentle, lower-strength blend of exfoliating acids selected for more sensitive and reactive skin types. It is the peel Dr. Kerri chooses when a client would like the brighter, smoother-looking finish of a peel but has skin that does not tolerate stronger formulas.
The appointment begins with a cleanse and an assessment under magnification, which confirms that the peel is appropriate for your skin on the day. The solution is applied in thin layers and left in place; a mild tingling or warmth is normal. It is followed by a calming, hydrating finish and sun protection.
Because the Sensi Peel is so gentle, most clients see little or no visible peeling afterward. Over the following week the skin tends to look clearer, more even in tone and more refined in texture. It is well suited to a first peel, and to clients who prefer a gradual approach.
Suitable for
- Sensitive or reactive skin
- Uneven-looking tone or dullness
- A first professional peel
- Skin prone to congestion that needs a gentle approach
Aftercare
Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day and avoid direct sun as far as possible for the first week. Use only a gentle cleanser, a moisturizer and SPF for five to seven days, with no retinoids, scrubs or exfoliating acids, and no waxing or dermaplaning on the area. If any light flaking appears, let it come away on its own; do not pick, peel or scrub it.

About pca sensi peel
Will my skin visibly peel?
Usually very little, and often not at all. The Sensi Peel is formulated for skin that does not tolerate stronger peels, so the exfoliation is gradual rather than visible. Some clients notice light flaking around the third or fourth day; many notice none.
What does the peel feel like?
A mild tingling or warmth while the solution is on the skin, which eases as it settles. The skin may look slightly pink for a few hours afterward. There is no need to plan time off.
How often do clients return?
Peels are often repeated a few weeks apart at first and then less frequently for maintenance; many clients return every four to six weeks. The interval depends on your skin and your goals, and Dr. Kerri advises each client individually at the assessment.
How is the Sensi Peel different from the Ultra Peel?
The Sensi Peel is the gentler of the two, with minimal visible peeling, and suits sensitive or reactive skin. The Ultra Peel is more intensive and produces light flaking over several days. Dr. Kerri recommends one or the other after assessing your skin, and often suggests beginning with the Sensi Peel.
