The Signature Facial is the most complete appointment on the menu and the one that best reflects how Dr. Kerri works. It is the longest visit, and it is built entirely around the assessment: no two Signature Facials follow the same sequence, because no two complexions have the same needs.

At its center is her signature deep pore cleansing and extraction work, given the time it deserves. Congestion, clogged pores and blackheads are cleared methodically, area by area, with a technique that is thorough without being aggressive. Around that work she selects the exfoliation, whether an enzyme, a light peel or another advanced technique, that suits your skin on the day.

The facial then moves to targeted serums and masks. With more than 22 years as a pharmacist working in skincare and customized topical formulations, Dr. Kerri chooses active ingredients for how they interact with the skin and with one another, layering hydrating, calming and brightening products to suit your concerns. The appointment closes with sun protection and a clear recommendation for home care. Her philosophy is that beautiful skin begins with healthy skin, and this facial is where it is most fully expressed.

Aftercare

Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and keep the skin simple for the next three to five days: a gentle cleanser, a moisturizer and SPF, with no retinoids, scrubs or exfoliating acids unless Dr. Kerri has advised otherwise. Do not pick or squeeze anywhere extractions were performed; slight pinkness in those areas is expected and typically settles within a day. Any home-care suggestions made at the appointment are written for your skin and are best followed as given.

Please arrive without makeup where possible and allow extra time. The Signature Facial is the longest appointment offered, and it is never hurried.

How is the Signature Facial different from the Basic Facial?

Time and depth. The Signature Facial is the longest appointment offered, and the additional time goes to deep pore cleansing and extractions, to a more advanced exfoliation chosen for your skin, and to targeted serums and masks selected from Dr. Kerri's formulation knowledge. The Basic Facial covers the essentials; the Signature Facial is fully customized from start to finish.

Is it suitable for acne-prone skin?

Yes, and it is the appointment most often recommended for it. Extractions are performed only where they can be done safely, and the products used are chosen for skin prone to congestion and breakouts. Whether the skin is ready for extractions on the day is decided at the assessment; very irritated areas are left alone.

How often do clients return?

Many clients return every four to six weeks, and some alternate the Signature Facial with a Basic Facial or a peel in between. Dr. Kerri advises each client individually at the end of the appointment, based on what the skin needed and how it responded.

What should I do before the appointment?

Arrive with clean skin if you can, and set aside retinoids and exfoliating acids for two to three days beforehand. Please mention any medications, recent treatments elsewhere, allergies or sensitivities at the start of the visit so that the products can be chosen with them in mind.
